With the Winter season well and truly upon us one of Website Design Cheltenham‘s clients Livestock Productions have revamped their online roster of live entertainment acts to reflect the changing seasons.

As such Livestock needed to update their online marketing strategy and tactics.

Accordingly, we reviewed their current approach and benchmarked it against several optimal approaches by their competitors and other “best in class” ecommerce organisations. Which we then used to create a set of low cost but achievable recommendations to better generate traffic, leads and sales.

As a result the Board of the GCU decided that major action was required to update the site to encourage greater customer usage by improving the security and resultant confidence in the site.

Now the website has a secure online application form so that people can apply for loans at their own convenience rather than relaying on slow, paper based applications. Which should also increase the number of applications.

Safer Internet Day 2017 is celebrated globally on Tuesday 7th February with the theme ‘Be the change: unite for a better internet’.

The UK Safer Internet Centre is a partnership of three leading organisations: SWGfL, Childnet International and Internet Watch Foundation with one mission – to promote the safe and responsible use of technology for young people.

What the UK safer Internet Center does:

The partnership was appointed by the European Commission as the Safer Internet Centre for the UK in January 2011 and is one of the 31 Safer Internet Centres of the Insafe network. The centre has three main functions:

Awareness Centre: to provide advice and support to children and young people, parents and carers, schools and the children’s workforce and to coordinate Safer Internet Day across UK.
Helpline: to provide support to professionals working with children and young people with online safety issues.
Hotline: an anonymous and safe place to report and remove child sexual abuse imagery and videos, wherever they are found in the world.
